I was reviewing the reading programs at the Schwab website and noticed this program. It seems affordable, easy to use and appropriate for my homeschooled 7th grade son with decoding and fluency issues. He hates to read since it is still such a struggle for him. We use alot of text to speech software to help with some of his reading and writing.
Has anyone used this approach? (He was tutored using the Wilson when he was in elementary school). I would appreciate any thoughts.
It’s a systematic program that covers most of what you need to teach a child do decode multi-syllabic words. This is often a missing piece in many resource type programs for LD readers.
