Book on LD schools

Click on the colored rectangle for finding help, there is a list of ld schools there, organized by state. Also I think Peterson’s wants you to buy the book, it would probably be more useful than the site. There is also K&W guide to schools (don’t remember specific title but it deals with ld/adhd schools)

I found it very incomplete. Margo, I found between Petersons, my state listing of schools, and lists generated by local parents organizations that I was able to identify all the ones near us. If you know the area you are looking for that helps. If you are wide open it will be tougher. Are you coming back to the NY area, because I’ve done alot of research and would be happy to share!

Thanks for responding. Karen, we might come back to the NYC area. If you get a chance, could you email me and let me know what you have found in your area. At the moment I am leaning toward The Lab School in DC, he spent 2 great summers there and they once offered him a place…but, I would still need to apply in a hurry if we decide to do this.
