Anyone have links to a site with good ideas or any suggestions themselves?
Most of the stuff I’ve found has been for younger (preschool) children. My children are 10 and 11. Like many LD’ers, the 10 year old is very sensitive.
Thanks,
Barb

Yes— try www.nasponline.org for several excellent articles. Also, “Helping America Cope” a booklet that was put out for dealing with the aftermath of 9/11 has many activities designed for parents and children to do together at 7-dippity.com and www.aacap.org for “Talking to Children about Terrorism and War”.
