I was wondering if that gentic sysmones is called Fragile X I have heared of it before I don’t think my dd has it but without having a gentic test we’ll never know.

I haven’t had my son tested because I’m done having babies and it won’t matter to him unless he’s having babies. I figure we have some time before we have to worry about that since he’s only 5. Besides, he was obviously autistic by the time we got the DX and now he’s clearly high functioning autistic. A genetic test isn’t going to change how we get his needs met.
I wasn’t thinking of Fragile X but that’s always a possibility with boys, because boys only have one X chromosome. My son’s doctor said you really can’t tell without testing. I was thinking of something else that I still don’t remember the name of. Unfortunately, I am not speaking to the teacher now so getting information is difficult.
