Hi
Thanks for the infomation,
I am having tons of problems with her at the momnet behviour wise we don’t know what to do with her she walk around like she can’t and will no listen to what we say if we tell her to do something you get You never listen to me. I ask her nicely to get dressed I get a monthful, she wants to play out in the morning before school I say No I am told I am a horriable mother who doesn’t care. I try and go through her spellings I get an angry little girl telling me she can’t spell these words (she has done them with ease before)
I wish I knew what was wrong what are we doing wrong, I want to help but I can’t if she doesn’t want us to.
By the way my e-mail is [email protected] if you want to e-mail me,
I was reading your post before I bet you are angry I would be too.
Liz

Sorry about the challenging behaviors. One thing I’ve learned with my son is to avoid power struggles. I say yes to begin with or offer him alternetives that he can choose from so that he feels more in control. We actually get his cooperation more often when we really need it now.
