Requesting Special Ed Records

You have all been a great help to me. Thank you for the information on the Freedom of Information Act. Yes, the administration is dragging their feet.

But, I am stumped…I am requesting a copy of his special ed file. Is this reasonable or should I be requesting a copy of his CA60? I received an E-mail stating that they didn’t understand specifically what I was requesting. I am at a lost.

I would appreciate any help you can give me.

There is a simple answer. They don’t know exactly what you want? Fine, if his file is that confusing, you want to go over it yourself. Please send ALL of it, period.

I agree with you, I found a list on the website mentioned above of information and at the end it states everything in his file. In a nice professional manner, that doesn’t deem threatening or me being a “crazy mom”…..

I appreciate your help….
