Dad is out of line!

Dad’s info is scary…. but tends to be rather well documented. Truth is often found offensive when it is scary.

I can’t believe that now Dad is being attacked. Maybe we need to have two different parent of LD children boards, one for people who aren’t afraid of a little controversy. People are allowing themselves to get all upset over every little thing. I don’t want to see this board turn into a place where everyone is so afraid of offending someone that nobody says anything thought provoking.

I’m sorry Dad is being used too. I always found Dad’s post informative and interesting.

I don’t think this thread is a case of two people being overly sensitive. There are many things which leads me to believe that ‘fed up’ and ‘Sue’ are one person. If not, I appolagize to them both. I think this thread is an attempt to further weaken this board by starting another fight, even if that one person has to take both sides of the fight. If one person decides to destroy a board, there is little others, besides the owner, can do. I hope the owners of this board decide to invest in other software rather than shut it down.

Perhaps it is you who needs to go somewhere else. Dad has been posting on this board as long as I have been involved (over three years) and he is very responsible. He often posts a point of view that is perhaps not mainstream but it is always well documented and never offensive. There ought to be room on this board for a variety of view points, and really until now there has been.

I personally find his posts interesting, even though I don’t have an autistic child.

I often find Dad’s posts disturbing, but very informative. Considering the rise in autism throughout our country, I consider it imperative to keep up with the lastest research as a special education teacher. Dad has given me more timely, easily accessible insight than many other sites I frequent, and I hope that he continues to post his messages.

Having a hard time resisting jumping in on this one! Dad’s probably one of the best documented individuals that posts here (and elsewhere). His depth of research and personal interest in finding as much information as possible is worth more than most can imagine. Certainly the time and painstaking detail he puts into his research has great value.

I can only figure you to be a miserable, bitter district employee or administrator who fears knowledge outside your prescious little educational system. Whether you are Ball or not, you are certainly picking on the wrong people.

Dad, like many of us parents of lders, is mostly made of bone and gristle and you can chew on that for a long time without making much impact.

He doesn’t need the likes of me to stand up for him, he stands on his own and I doubt you get much more than a smirk out of him. Why you waste your time on the bb, unless it is to distract those who post for a few minutes of thier lives… I just can’t figure it out. Don’t much care either.

Get a life somewhere else.
