Hi, I am also in NC but I have not heard of that program. I did a search and if I found the correct program, I was not very impressed. It is very intent on putting itself in the “balanced literacy” camp. Here’s a nice article from LD Online that talks about this.

I’d give those teachers a copy of this article on research based programs and ask why they aren’t using a program that has been proven for special ed.!
