things that makes you say .

Went to a guitar workshop with my oldest last night. The “fastest two handed guitarist” was giving a presentation. My son’s teacher, told my son, he was going to challenge this guitarist to a battle of the finger’s and my son wanted to see this.

This guitartist was an incredibly talented player. Has a degree in music.
You should of seen his fingers go and how wonderful the music was. LOVES the computer, stated numerous times how it had made life so much easier and how he wouldn’t do without it.How he doesn’t have to waste time writing by hand.(hmm,go on,my mind was saying.) Told us how he was also an accomplished artist,my son elbowed me in the ribs. Then went on a tangent of an array of subjects, moving from how guitarist today do not play enough,to what mainland China’s weather was like. Put it this way,his brain was moving as fast as his fingers flew over the guitar strings.

My son looked at me,I looked at him,and he said,”okay, bethca he is ADD”
I looked back at him and said” possibly dyslexic,he is left handed, loves to draw, can’t write?” My son nodded in agreement.

As we were driving home,my son said,I am really upset with my Guitar teacher. he chickened out and didn’t come!”that is unacceptable”he mumbled under his breath. Then he said,I like this guy,but he wouldn’t stop talking and start playing”. “well you know how someone with ADD has a hard time staying on topic and explaining what they want to say,I mean, you know explaining all the things they want to explain, you know, well I mean”. My son starts laughing, and says,”yeah,I know what you mean Mom”.

hey what other type of person can go hear one guy play guitar and come away with all of this in one night?

Socks, I KNOW I replied to this message previously, with “Onlly a very insighful chilc with a great mom”, but apparently it never got on the board. Seems like it’s not the only one that didn’t get received. This bb is dying a slow death i’m afraid. What are your thoughts?
