Re: ADD ADHD LD explained
I’m not sure what to tell you other than neuro-scientists have more of the correct answers than doctors because these guys are smart as hell and are on the cutting edge. The human brain is very complex. If you could add all the possible combinations of cells and dendritic connections it would excced the number of particles in the known universe. Thats not taking into account the effects of all the chemical actions of the many neuro transmitters. The brain is not a tinker toy so when someone tells you something is fact be a bit suspect. I know severe epileptics who have normal EEGs. A neuro - psych evaluation will probably tellyou what you already know but it willhave a lot of fancy psycho babble that sounds cool Read the Brain by Richard Restik.
Re: ADD ADHD LD explained
Ball my friend, are you ADHD? You are extremely ecclectic,a real thinker.
I like that:-) Are you sure your not my husband? You two would get along well.
Re: ADD ADHD LD explained
Never been formally diagnosed as ADD. I’m not nor have ever been hyper active. I do have LD and dyslexia possibly as a result of a TBI and FAS. I just don’t care what people think of me anymore and I try to be as politically incorrect as possible. It gets you to the truth faster. You have a pretty good grasp of the gestault. Your Posts are refreshing. I’d like to see all the hocus pocus surrounding ADD ADHA LD be replaced with hard science and accurate diagnoses.
Hi Ball,
My son has ADHD (inattentive), specific LDs, CAPD, NLD, and visual processing. How does all this work together? Or where can I go to glean more info? BTW, he had an EEG, and it was “normal.”
