I need a writing program for my middle school students. All need help in most areas of writing, composing, generating ideas, the structure of a sentence, paragraph. Curious as to what program would give me the biggest bang for my buck. Best writing program for 7th grade ld students? Thanks
I have used STep Up to WRiting for about 3 years. I have used it with middle school aged students as well as high school. At this time, I have talked my team 11th grade teacher to try it in his academic classes and he likes it. I was able to take my 11th grade self-contained English class students from not really being able to write a proper sentence to writing a 3-5 page research paper. They also passed their state tests, Virginia SOLs. I highly recommend the program. Along with the manual, you should buy the Handy Pages for your students.
