… an important question is — what kind of LDs?

Unfortunately, the overwhelming tendency of home study programs is to rely on reading and writing, reading and writing.

You might want to check out http://www.setonhome.org/ld/default.stm — some years back when I was looking for information on homeschooling LD kids, I found this, and it was before the recent explosion of homeschooling websites. I got the feeling these folks have been working with kids’ differences for quite a while — though I don’t know any specifics!

Check with Brown University. They accept such students into their college, and would know where these students are coming from. As a matter of fact, any college that accepts these students ought to be able to guide you, regarding how to do high school as a home study program. Many colleges may not require an accredited degree, but rather just a good transcript.

It’s “hypertext markup language” — HTML.
You do a less than sign and then write A HREF=”http://www.yourlink.com” and then do a greater than sign.
***do quotes on both sides*****

Then write the words you want to say (like LD OnLIne, or My Favorite Site, or whatever)

Then write a less than sign
then /a
then a greater than sign.

It will come out like this
Resource Room

… unless you’re on one of the other bb’s on this site, where it just writes out whatever I write with all the greater thans and less thans and quotes.
