I have requested deletion of two recent messages on this board that were rude and disrespectful of the posters, who were genuinely seeking to be supportive of the LD kids in their care. I’d rather not see these boards as places where these kids can be bashed with impunity. This is totally uncalled for and undermines the point of this board, which is to provide a helpful resource for those who are teaching our kids.

I haven’t been to the Adult Boards in quite some time. To contact LD Online about offensive posts, just go to the home page, scroll to the bottom, and click on “e-mail us.”
I’ve done this in the past, and they are very responsive and appreciative.

On a couple of boards here, a moderator referenced as Jessica posted FAQs about permitted usage. I emailed her with my request and she deleted the two messages. I suggest you contact her as well about the Adults with LD board, one I don’t normally visit. Her email is [email protected]. I think it would helpful to her if you gave as much information as possible as to where the offending messages are so she doesn’t have to search through everything herself. If more people do this, it would be really helpful for maintaining the usefulness of these boards as a resource.

I totally applaud your efforts in doing that. Talk about the ultimate in disrespect, a thread on the LD Adults boards has turned into a bunch of posts consisting of racist and antisemitic remarks. Anyway, do you have an email address that I can write to so I can express my concerns?
I apologize to rest of the folks on these boards for this off topic post but I am sickened by what has happened and feel like a lone wolf on this issue.
