Hi,
I’m a recent graduate from the University of Calgary with a BA in Linguistics and a BA in Archaeology. I am LD and ADD and wish to find a job - possibly homeschooling - working with Adults or Children with LD. I’m always up for a challenge.
I live in Calgary, Alberta.

Hi from Montreal.
Job suggestions:
There’s often a demand for teacher’s aides, although the job doesn’t really pay enough to live on. If you could live cheaply (with parents or whatever) for a year or two, this is an excellent way to gain experience with kids with needs, because those are the ones the teacher is only too happy to have the aide take care of.
Same although even worse pay for daycare and child care. Lots of demand. There are centers that specialize in special needs — look for one; a good way to get experience.
Start taking education classes part-time and work part-time as above and/or apply as a substitute teacher. If substituting doesn’t turn you off schools for life, you can learn something about schools and teaching. Taking education courses while getting real experience can give you insight and motivation for your studies.
Look around your local schools of education, offices and bulletin boards, for parents searching for aides or coaches to work with their children; I’ve seen a demand for people to work with autistic kids.
Good luck with this.
