I am a tenth grade student at Walt Whitman High School on Long Island where I am taking a science research class. I have been studying dyslexia for many years and am now starting a research project on the possible relationship of multiple early childhood inner ear infections and dyslexia. In order to carry out my experiment, I need to survey a large number of dyslexic individuals.

My son has all the hallmarks of dyslexia, but not the diagnosis. He did not have ear infections as a small child, but does have an auditory processing disorder (which can sometimes be caused by ear infections as a child). You might get more participation if you broaden the scope of your research. :-)

My son is 11 years old with a diagnosis of dyslexia. He has severe asthma but no ear infections. He is a text book dyslexic if there ever is one. Email me at [email protected], I would be happy to participate.

I think we all have Dyslexia in us but on some of us don’t show it.. Becaues I have it you could not tell unlee you read my writing

My daughter, Lindsey is a very creative and bright 14 year old. She has struggled with reading her entire life. I am a first grade teacher and we have developed many strategies for her to use, but she continues to struggle.
