How do you contact the moderators about offensive posts? I looked, but I couldn’t find anything and there are certainly a few posts that need to be removed.

I went to the Home page and sent an email to them. They contacted me and said that, once the moderators came in, the offensive posts would be removed.
Perhaps they can makei t so only registered users post??

Julie,
I’m with you on that! I found registering such a simple thing to do!
As you may know, this board is hosted by a public TV and Radio station (I think, anyway). Once, in response to a similiar question I sent them, they responded that they felt free speech was so important that they hesitated to restrict it by forceing people to register. I agree, in principle, but not in practice….
Hopefully, the moderators will see your post and explain it better.
Re: How does one contact the moderators??
Getting rid of the guest option will definitly free up my mornings, School is out in 5 more days. We should all send an IM to them suggesting this. They did ask for our suggestions and have been very gracious when we offer them. The guest thingy is the real problem, I think everything will get back to normal once thi is done, at the least it will cut down and make it harder for them.

LOL!
rebelmom—I’m very pleased you take the time. It is important and you are helping so many other.
Re: How does one contact the moderators??
I Imed the moderators suggesting that they require all posters to register too. All the other boards require it. I figured that people who are sincere about helping others and people who are really searching for info to help their children would not have a problem with registering.
I am more scared than ever for the “innocents” that get taken in by the anti-everything group. Free speech is one thing, free garbage is another. thing all together. You can still register and give free speech. But if you are scared to put your name on the line and standby what you post than what kind of free speech is that.
I thought there was an easier way a few days ago, but I don’t see it now either.
Looks like you can choose the Private Message message button, then choose the “Find a UserName” link next the the Username field, and then use the pop-up window to locate “LDOnline.”
