I am a doctoral student in Education in Austin, Texas. I am doing a project on the challenges of being a college student with a learning disability. I want to learn from an expert, not the textbook, how to teach adults with LD. If you are interested, please email me.
Please be a current college student, or departed college within 6 months
Please be willing to be as open as possible to questions about your disability and learning style.
Please be able to check your email often, as we will dialog electronically throughout next week.
My email address is [email protected]
Re: Wanted: An adult with a learning disability
Your best bet is to interview the current Adult LD Students on campus, there, at the university you study.
Ask the Special Education professor for advice.

Working with an adult with a learning disablity is a challenge just like with a child. You MUST be patient and consident. I wouldn’t mind corresponding with you about your topic-just email me. [email protected]
Re: Wanted: An adult with a learning disability
I am an adult currently in college with LD. Doing well but struggling although getting ready to graduate!. Feel free to email me with any questions you may have. [email protected]
is this legit?
If anyone has responded to this guy, post and let me know if his post is legit or if he’s sending you spam. I want to respond, but I get too much spam already.
I would like to participate in this project, but i can’t. I’m currently in college and i can tell you that being LD and in college is no picnic, but it does have its moments. Why not try the Texas LDA to help you?
