Children have been crippled because some guy claiming to be a NEURO CHIRO convinced their parents a back adjustment would help their symptoms. These guys are criminals.

I know several DCs personally and these men are of impeccable character.

You may not be aware of this but a chiropracter gets more schooling in neurology than MDs. My MD told me that.

I was helped tremendously for a back injury by a DC that my MD reccomended.

Osteopthy and Chiropractic is very safe and effective. It is not the panacea that some people think it is but it does have it’s place.

If chiros are criminals, NOVARTIS is Satan. I would like to see everyone associated with Novartis die. Ritalin cheap to make 20000% mark up. Why? Chiros are not filthy rich. Drug execs are.

Poor defense of an lousey excuse for a science. Chiropractors cripple people everyday. They especially hate boys. Why? Because their moms were mean to them and they think this is how you treat boys. A recent study proved that 90% of all chiropracters had mean mommys and they had such low self esteem they couldn’t become real doctors. Infact, they became such poor chiropractors that they had to come up with a scam to con desparate parents out of money and cause long term back problems for their kids. Also, the study showed most chiros were ugly and had an IQ of 100 or lower. the public has become so aware of this that they now have to disguise them selves as neuro specialists. Ball really must have struck a nerve to cause all this phoney outrage. I admit I was quite confused as to what Ball is/was and soon I became convinced that he was just some internet troll who took delight in disrupting message boards. I now get the impression that he did something that could not be ignored and what I seem to be seeing here is sour grapes.

Ball probably knew what he/she was talking about and the truth of what he sad may have proven too disturbing to some of the emotionally unstable poster who can’t seem to forget him. So now when someone come on expressing views similar to those of Ball the drug your kids zealots call that person Ball and launch personal attacks.

OK then for all those who have wittnessed the the miracle of giving kids amphetamines to cure them of the symptoms of childhood I will tell you right now I do not believe stimulant therapy is safe or effective and I have the studies and the stats to back that up.

If you wanna risk your childs life and health I can’t stop you. When in 10 or 20 yrs down the road they develop mental illness or cancer I am sure you can think of a way to justify or deny your role in it. Maybe you can blame Ball for that too.

For Barb, I was not just talking about Ogden Roe’s comments, though I am not finding them particularly helpful. I think the entire tone of the discussion is extremely juvenile. Remember that I was also accused of being “Ball” at one time. Accusations are flying in both directions.

It will not solve anything to “identify” the “evil posters”. I just want to set some standards of respectful discussion. The identity of the poster is irrelevant - the content is relevant. And responding in kind is probably exactly the worst thing to do.

Inappropriate posts should be respectfully confronted, ignored, or reported. Don’t fuel the fires. But it is sad, indeed. I was hoping for a more adult discussion of the issues.
