I know that a resource teacher can “guest” (deliver services without an IEP)students into the resource program, but is it legal for general ed students without an IEP to be sent into a SDC room for a portion of the day?

I have experience in SDC’s in the high school setting. I think it depends on what the child’s needs are and what the teacher in the setting is providing for the child. I have seen at times students in the GE curriculum work as peer tutors (teachers aides) and come into the SDC classroom to help the SDC students with their studies. I think it depends on the situation and I can’t comment on the legalities without understanding the entire situation.
