Hi,
I have developed two programs to help you teach your LD or special needs child/students. They run in MS Excel and download in Zip format (de-zipper available at www.winzip.com). You must also “enable macros” when the program opens.
The programs are resultsware (shareware you pay for if you get results) for mainstream children/schools but are completely free for those with special needs.
All I ask is, if you use the programs, that you drop me an e-mail letting me know your results - good, bad or ugly.

Expect miracles.

NB: These programs are upgraded versions of the one I offered here by e-mail last year.
Macros
Hi Kelll,
The programs were developed on Microsoft Excel. When you open an Excel file that has programming in it, you have to have macros enabled in order for the programming to function. When you open the file a small screen should pop up asking whether you want to enable macros. If you select “Enable Macros” the file will open with the programming. If you select “Don’t Enable Macros” the file will open without macros. Macros in a file could be malicious and damage your computer.
There is a check button on that screen that let’s you decide to enable all macros without being asked in the future, so if you don’t see this screen it may be because you checked that button before. (For security, you should be sure of the source of a file before enabling macros on it. Sorry, I can’t think how I can prove to you that these are okay.)
What you should have if you downloaded (and unzipped) both programs are two MS Excel files: Arithmetic101 and Arithmeteach101. Once they are open, if you can move from the opening page (click one of the options), you should be all set.
If you have any other questions, please ask here or direct to me at [email protected]
Absolutely NO need to send any $ if used for a LD child/student.

A little reassurance
Just got a link to the programs at www.multiplication.com
The good-standing of Alan Walker’s site should be enough to convince anyone who had qualms about downloading the programs.
The link does, however, direct to the same download site.

It’s also worthwhile taking a look around Alan’s web site.

Feedback?
Hi,
This thread has been up for about a month. I was wondering if anyone has downloaded the programs and can offer any feedback?
So, what do you think? Are they any use?
Brian
Hi Brian,
I had no idea how to enable the macros. I would like to do so for your software only. Can you help? I’ll be happy to send some $ too!
