Does anyone happen to know a reputable Independent educational psychologist/evaluator in Massachusetts??
Thanks in advance. :)
Re: Independent Evaluations--MA
Thanks for the info. I’m going to call today. I was just looking to get an evaluation completely independent of the school system by the end of this school year. So hopefully I could get an appointment at least for next Spring.
Thanks again!! :)
There are 3 people in the greater Boston area that I would look to first:
Dr. Gail Grodzinsky - Lexington
Dr. Ann Helmus - Watertwon
Dr. Steven Hentoff - Natick
All have excellent reputations, do a thorough eval, and write a detailed, useful report with suggestions for the school. Unfortunately, as is true of most of the best neuropsychologists, they all have fairly long waits for evals. I have heard that Ann Helmus has someone new (and good) on staff with a much shorter wait, but my guess is that if he’s good, he’ll fill up quickly too.
