My daughter won her schools young authors competition! Thanks to those of you who just suggested she come up with an ending to the story whether she liked it or not. If you don’t remember she had missed the first deadline (rough draft) due to writers block. I posted a question here and you all just recommended she come up with an ending whether she “felt” it or not. She took your advise, gave it her all, got it done on time (final draft). She found out today that she won, she is so pleased she listened to you all and just did it. Thanks everyone.

Some of us get the creative juices flowing best under deadline stress… drives the steady workers nuts, but some of us just work in spurts.
Inspiration+ perspiration=great outcome.
I think is lovely that this worked out so well for your daughter. She obviously has great potential, especially now that she has learned she still can produce good work when she isn’t in the mood.
