Hello. I am not one with LD but my spouse is. I am currently searching for resources and would be willing to share information.
Re: Adults with LD
/quote]Does your wife work? How does she cope with the demands of daily life and work?
Hello, Yuly. I would love to talk with you. I am 31 years old and wrestle with what some doctors have dx’ed ADD and others have dx’ed Executive Dysfunction. I have a history of hydrocephalus, with several surgeries in childhood, and I have a shunt.
I consider myself to be moderately well functioning (this is a relative comparison - relative to my OWN past experiences). I have a job that I love, assisting a 7th grader with hf autism/asperger’s. I’ve been with him since he was in the 4th grade. I play and teach piano, and know how to turn a phrase pretty well when I’m not writing an e-reply at 2am! ;)
Please do get in touch with me. Email is best, as I may forget the address of this website - or forget that I have a reason to visit again! I’ll try, but…….
Anyway - take care.
