I believe there is a lot to consider before telling the person you are dating about your ADD. If you are only ‘dating’ then you probably shouldn’t mention anything to the person. But if you know you like them a lot and both of you discuss a future together than you probably should say something. I myself have a girlfrined and I threw out that I hadd ADD/LD to her pretty quickly, partly due to the fact that she is a Social Worker and she teaches a kids ADHD group at Kaiser hospital where she works, so I thought that she would understand some of my problems/frustrations if I told her..anyway, bottom line is to just gauge the woman/man and decide if the person will be understanding or not.
