Could someone please explain what perceptual organization is and methods of remediating deficits in the area of perceptual organization?

Okay, found this description on a website:
Perceptual Organization (nonverbal) Factor is based on Picture Completion, Picture Arrangement, Block Design, and Object Assembly.
A program such as Audiblox would probably be helpful, because it works on developing nonverbal reasoning and visual perceptual skills, among others. The Set game (about $15) and the Dale Seymour “Visual Thinking” cards sets A & B (closer to $100, I think) would also probably be helpful — again working on visual reasoning and perception skills. Critical Thinking Press (they have a website) has two workbooks out on visual perception exercises that are really good and worth working through, although they are aimed at lower elementary grades.
I would probably start with the Critical Thinking workbooks, because they are the easiest, and start Set with just the solid cards. You could work the visual thinking cards in with Audiblox exercises, although the cards might be too difficult until some Audiblox has been done. I would think that math geoboards would also be helpful, and any games or puzzles that involve shapes (tangrams, Shape By Shape, even jigsaw puzzles). I’d load up on those kinds of activities and do some every day.

educational gobbledy-gook. What kind of testing was done, and who did the testing?
