would some of you like to send postcards to kids

In a special day class with severe disabilities? I am an SLP who is collaborating with a teacher of 5-6th grade children with Exceptional Needs. The kids are doing state reports and the would love to get some postcards from different parts of the country. We are trying to teach them where they are in the world from where they live, City, State, Country. We have a huge map of the United States and Canada on the wall with their pictures on it and we would love to add some postcards from various states in the union. Some of the kids are doing specific State reports on Nevada, Florida, Arizona, Montana, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, New York, Colorado, Illinois, however, any other states or countries like Canada would be welcomed. Let me know if you would be interested and I can forward the address!

Thanks a bunch…this will mean a lot to the kids to get mail and to see where the postcards come from. :lol:

This is a great idea. I’d love to have my dd do the postcard — it would be a great writing exercise for her. Can you post the address for us?

and I will send you the address. I didn’t want to publish the address where I work on-line. There is a little box by this message that says pm (private message) click that and send me a message where I can e-mail you back and I will send you the address that way. I will send postcards back to your child from CA…

I would love to send a postcard from Canada….I think this is a wonderful project and would love to take part. :D ……but yes I need the address too!
