I am looking for a good math curriculum for resource. I currently use the Saxon math, but there is allot of reading involved and not much practice of new concepts. I teach at high school and I am looking for a curriculum that ranges from 5th grade to 12th grade level math, but with little or no reading. Any ideas/suggestions?
Re: Math curriculum
I really like Math U See. I am using it in combo with On Cloud Nine. I think it is a nice, economical program. It is definitely good for the not so good reader. You can do the stuff over and over til the kid gets it and using manipulatives is built in and they show you how to use them.
For example, for place value you do the following: show how; have the kid “build” the no.; “build the no.” and have the kid give you the number name; write the no. and have the kid “build it”, etc. This gets at several different ways of processing the info. VEry sound imo.

Have you checked out Math U See? I think it is www.mathusee.com
I am using it with 5th and 6th grade. SO far so good. It is my first year.
