Fluency Program for entire class simultaneously

Submitted by an LD OnLine user on

A while ago someone posted about a fluency program that would work for an entire class simultaneously. Can someone help me out and tell me the name of it? It was not Read Naturally or Great Leaps.
Thanks.

You’re very welcome! There are a few companies that I try to watch their web-sites and Sopris West is one of them. They seem to produce some of the best materials for LD and reading.

Hi Janice!

I just ordered Six Minute Solution. What appealed to me was the fact that there were twenty nonfiction passages for every grade level. Since I had no way of actually seeing the program, I bought it on faith that it will be a good investment based on Sopris West’s track record. I loved the REWARDS program.

Hi, Marilyn,

Yes, do let us know what you think. I bought a couple of levels of Quick Reads, which looks good, too. But I am using it for one-on-one work, not for a class. It sounds like the Sopris program might be more cost effective. Although, the QR has like 90 passages per grade level, so it might be more useful for kids with real fluency problems.
