chemistry, algebra II. Notes dragon speak

1.What is helpful for a child with a non-verbal learning disability, language problems and visual perceptional problems who is taking a regular chemistry class next year.

2. Has anyone used the computer course, Plato, algebra two. Since verbal mediation helps I have some concerns about a computer being able to explain things. There will not be much teacher support.

3. Dragon speak. There is a dragon speak program which records the teachers voice and then prints the lecture out on the computer. Has any used it. How well does it work?

I had an exam by an MD who used Dragon speak to take notes during exams, so he could cut out his transcriptionist. However, he had to stop every few minutes to say things like, stop, correct, backspace, it was so aggrevating for me as a patient as the machine kept his attention and I was just the paying customer that was being ignored. It was fascinating to watch him use Dragon Speak but he had problems as the Dragon speak would put in different words that what he wanted to have in the report
