It seems to me that I read somewhere there are some funds associated with NCLB. Anyone know anything about this??

Yeah I did look into this now. Unfortunately the Reading First, which was what I was thinking of, is for public and charter schools and not for schools who take kids that the public schools aren’t helping! (At least I think.)

It depends on what you mean by monies attached. Do you mean funds for parents or school disctricts?
Additonal funds are not given to support NCLB, but A school labeled as “Needs Improvement” and is also classified as a Title I School (low poverty and/or disadvantaged) then funds must be set aside for the Title I grant to cover supplemental services and choice transportation for students that quailify for these services.
