While researching dyslexia, RAN and language difficulties I came across Specific Language Impairment (SLI).
Does anyone here know anything about it? Also, possible effective forms of treatment.

I thought that SLI was Speech and Language Impaired.

Different states use slightly different category titles. It is speech-language impaired here. But we had a child move in from another state whose classification was specific language impairment.

what type depends upon the child, it could be expressive or receptive language.
