Cathryn — one of those internet shorthand things, always makes one feel out of it the first time, no problem.
NM is No Message, NT or n/t is No Text — when the entire info is posted in your title line and you just put that in so the machine will post the empty message.
For people with slow browsers, it is polite to put the (nt) in the subject line so they don’t waste the time opening the empty message.
