I just stumbled across this website. It is fantastic, especially for new teachers! I’ve been teaching for 6 years (kids with LD, ADHD, EH, etc. etc.) and still find it useful.
It lists about 120 misbehaviors, and for each one, describes the behavior, the effect, actions you can take, and what NOT to do.
I forgot to mention that this site also offers advice to parents for each of these behaviors.
The outstanding aspect of this site is that the advice is not VAGUE (you know, “Treat your child as you wish to be treated,” etc. :roll:
It gives the specific words you can say and actions to take.
