Wow- that’s quite a list! My dd is LD but had a very successful end of HS- GPA was 3.something, good recommendations, motivated to get good grades, did well on SAT with extended time. She applied and was accepted to 5 schools, including Gannon and Mercyhurst. She chose Mercyhurst after an overnight visit. They do offer support for disabilities on 2 levels- the first is accomodations similar to a 504, the 2nd is a program that includes tutoring, study sessions, etc. and has an additional fee. My dd is not taking advantage of any services at this point. The also have tutoring and a writing lab available for everyone, as do many universities now. I definitely thought a small school with small classes was they way to go. She has only been there a few weeks so too soon to say how it is working out.
