There is a homeschooling set of forums at sonlight.com

The forum for special needs has several parents who use the omega 3s for ADHD. There are also several who use gluten free diets, etc

They REALLY are reasonable folks and welcome everyone, even if you’ve never dreamed of homeschooling

Id head over there;do a search first because its a common question, but then go ahead and post if your questions get more specific

Good luck!

Search medline for abstracts of studies on the use of essential fatty acid supplements for LD and ADHD. You will find that there have been a few small studies that show, though not conclusively, that these supplements may help some people. Hard to say on the current research what proportion of ADHD sufferers might benefit. You might also visit the FDA website and search for information on a product called Efalex. FDA cited the maker of the product for making false claims that it would treat ADHD.
