I’m looking for a book that was advertised in one of those fliers publishers send to all special ed teachers. The name was something along the lines of “outrageous responses to outrageous behavior”. That was not the actual title though. cuz I can’t find it listed anywhere. Anyway it was basically about surprising kids into changing their behavior with unexpected behaviors. If any one can help with the title, I’d appreciate it. Thanks
Re: Outrageous responses to outrageous behavior
I would love to have a copy of this publication, too. I teach high school LD/SC but a large number of my students are really BD or EBD and some of their behaviors leave much to be desired. They also “feed” off of eachother. I feel that their low test and quiz scores are unreliable measures of their abilities and knowledge of the material and as these students also do not complete classroom and homework assignments their report cards indicate failing grades all around.
I would welcome any advice and materials that would help me bring these students inline.
