Hi! Does anyone have suggestions for a good book about ADHD for children?
I’d appreciate any recommendations. Thanks for taking the time. Robin

Regarding distractibility - short attention span - inattention…
There is a good ADHD - Inattentive autobiography paperback by C. Thomas Wild with Anita Uhl Brothers, M.D. with an usual title - How to Cure Hyperactivity (1981) - (better for parents vs children).

Another book (more for parents vs children) which reports how the right medicine can occasionally help neurological challenges.

Re: Good Books for Children about ADHD?
It all depends on the age. My son read “Sometimes I drive my Mom crazy but I know she loves me” at least that is what I remember as the title. But now that he is older (11) he chose to read “Joey Pigza swallowed the key” and did a book report on it for school complete with telling the other students that he has ADHD himself. There are quite a few books out there-I know I searched Amazon.com several years ago and bought them from there. Unfortunately, I donated them to the school so I don’t have them to give you exact titles.
Hi Robin,
One of the best books I’ve read about ADHD is ‘Scattered Minds.’ I’m not even going to pretend to know how to spell the author’s last name. It is a really good foundation for anyone seeking knowledge about ADHD.
