I have a student who is very intelligent but also very hyperactive in the first grade. He is constantly out of his seat, talking with other students and off-task. He is pleasant and very cooperative but I’m afraid soon he will become discouraged. Any suggestions on how to help him manage his own off-task behavior?

I’m not real sure what you mean by “Behavior direction not Behavior modification”? Also, could you be more specific about right brain activities! Sounds like you have a lot of knowledge in this area!! Thanks for your input.

Focus on the positives and say I love my A.D.D.
