Can anyone recommend a good vocabulary program, preferably one that uses multisensory strategies? This would be for upper elementary students. Thanks ~ Jenn
Re: Re: Looking for a good vocabulary program
Our son is using one of the best language arts programs I’ve ever come across for a dyslexic student. It is called Time4Learning, and the vocabulary for the upper elementary grades is incredibly multisensory and comprehensive. This is the first program I’ve found where even mentioning that it was time for spelling/vocab practice didn’t bring tears.
It is a great program for anyone homeschooling an LD child, or it could certainly be used as a supplement for any child with special learning needs.

I haven’t used it myself, but I have heard very good things about Vocabulary Through Morphemes. If you Google it, you should find some comments. I believe it is suitable for grades 4 and up. It is available from http://www.sopriswest.com
