I’m just curious, but does anyone out there really understand their diagnostic reports? Do other people want to know what the tests involve and what areas they test? School reports seem so limited in what they tell you and professional reports are so complicated.
Re: Diagnostic Evaluations
Our school evaluation was much more vague than the private psychologist’s evaluation. He went over the scores for about 1 1/2 hours and then sent a full summary in the mail that was about seven pages long with the explanation of each score and subtest score. I wouldn’t say we have concrete answers, but it showed is strengths/weaknesses and what my dd doesn’t have.

Wright’s Law has a great article on understanding tests and measurements. Its also in their book From Emotions To Advocacy. It helped me a lot to understand what the testing information and scores meant.
