I think it may not be widely used, as I rarely see it mentioned. That doesn’t mean it’s not good, however.

I found info on this in looking at LD Online: MSSL Methods, they have an article that lists Multisensory Structured Language Programs; Content & Principles of Instruction. It is listed as an MSSL reading program.
