Re: Welcoming your input for Special Ed blog!
Why are you on a forum designed to offer help, education and support and then criticizing those who do?
You assupmtions are quite arrogant. How would you know i don’t have a disability myself? You don’t.
Why not take your own advice. Why posting attentions seeking posts when you can be with your children instead?
Re: Welcoming your input for Special Ed blog!
spedexaminer, it’s best to just not respond to her comments. I have seen your blog, was directed there from another web site. You are doing good work, keep it up.
>Just remember, that you are talking about real people who some day may read what you write.<
I hate to burst your bubble, but my children are almost adults who do read, write and enjoy my articles. I do NOT get paid for the blog so my only obsessive need is to spare other families finding out their child is about to graduate from high school as an illiterate. Why don’t you read “Nickel and Dimed, getting by (or not) in America” by Barbar Ehrenriech so you can see what type of future LD kids have to look forward to if their “obessed” parents don’t advocate for them.
