In Central Florida, the Vanguard School of Lake Wales is a special school strictly for students grades 6-12 who have mild to moderate learning disabilities. The school prepares them fully for college life and beyond, and offers a broad range of services and extracurriculars that build students’ self-esteem. The school is very effective for students with conditions ranging from Aspergers Autism to dyslexia/dysgraphia. My question for parents is this: If you’re not sending your LD student to a school like Vanguard, how are you preparing them to participate in our future global economy? I am particularly interested in any homeschooling programs that might be used for this purpose.
Extra curricular activities are important chapter of education. Those institution who offers these activities along with other course of study will better for grooming their students.
