When a doctor states that CAPD does not exist, and that their is no scientific diagnosis for the condition?
It just demonstrates that the doctor has little if any understanding and knowledge of Learning Disorders/ Difficulties?
You wrote that your son has problems with his pencil grip, and his writing is sloppy.
Where a significant part of the IQ sub-tests, involve hand-writing.
So this needs to be taken into account, as this would very likely effected his ability to do the tests?
As it would effect his ability to ‘demonstrate’ what he can do.
So I would rather suggest that you ignore any conclusions from this doctor?
It could be useful to look at the scores for each of the Sub-tests? Where it is the Sub-tests that really provide the useful information. As they begin the process of identifying where the difficulties are?
