Can you read the manual and figure this program out or do you have to take the course to “get it”? I’m very curious, as I do have a few kids who are good at decoding and are fluent readers, but they understand very little, when they are done reading.
Re: Visualizing and Verbalizing
Hello Beth,
That is an excellent question. It would not hurt at all to take the course. I worked for the company for three years and trained many teachers in this program. It is very detail oriented and it is helpful to see someone model it for you and ask your questions for guidance.

Re: Visualizing and Verbalizing
I found it very readable and doable. For other LMB programs, I’d say “get training, work with other people, see how it’s done, practice it with guidance,” etc… but the V/V is pretty effectively described in the manual.
I have been trained in it by LMB but you can get it from the manual…It is very user friendly.
