I am looking for examples of lesson plans that cover visualization strategies. Specifically, examples of narratives. Short or long doesnt really matter.
Thanks

Re: Visualization
Yes, the LMB book is full of lesson plans. It’s very nice because it takes you through actual sessions with a student. I assume that’s what you’re looking for - examples or models of how to go about a session?
Re: Visualization
I have 3 kids and none of them are interested in reading they all state that it is boring. I think part of it for 2 of them is that they are below grade level in reading and this makes it boring. What I just recently tried and it seems to be working is I read to them all and then we discuss the story. I chose the book Holes which was recommended on this board. I cant believe how much they loved it, the discussion was very lively. After I was done the 2 boys voluntarily did their homework on their own. My daughter who did not have any read on her own for another 30 minutes. They are looking forward to tonights session. I promised them that the next book would be more exciting and challenging. After reading a few books to them on plan on giving them the chance to be the reader and they get to choose the book. I will keep you all informed on how this works.
Re: Visualization
can the LMB book be used without training also could somebody without training use the LMB to help with visualization with other subjects
Have you checked out the Lindamood-Bell website? (http://www.lblp.com) The book _Visualizing and Verbalizing_ is rather full of lesson plans if you cna find a copy of it at the library, too.
