In using the Orton metod, we are trying to work on fluency in one -on -one tutoriols I am looking for software programs that young students can use at home that would be motivational and fun while at the same time reinforce fluency with vowel teams.
Re: reading fluency
To my knowledge computers cannot yet adequately assess reading fluency - there are too many accents, too many rates of fluency, too many individual idiosyncracies (which a human tutor can automatically discern), etc. for a machine to have any reliability.
